Job Description:

Educational Testing Consultants, Inc. is seeking instructors to teach LSAT preparation classes to be held at Florida State University in Tallahhassee through the Center for Professional Development.

Class sessions are presented using PowerPoint modules in conjunction with associated text books and study aids. The PowerPoint course materials have been created by experienced test preparation instructors and former test item writers, so no curriculum development will be required with the position.

Each position involves teaching 3-5 courses per year, with each course consisting of 30 face-to-face hours of classroom instruction. Preference will be given to candidates who appear likely to hold a position for two or more years. Pay rate begins at $60 per hour of instruction.

Preferred Skills:

Successful candidates will possess proof of exceptional scores on standardized tests, previous teaching or public speaking experience, and a willingness to work evenings or weekends (J.D. preferred).
